The internet and it's wonders

We all know it, we are all very familiar with it. The internet. yes you are even on the internet right now, searching and looking for blogs, or browsing your favourite sites, browsing your facebook, or myspace, yes maybe even posting a short message on your twitter to update your life, to tell the world what you are doing, where you are and who you are. The internet connects people, it connects me, a little Dane, to the big America and it's people. We get to talk over msn, we can talk and chat, and even if the timezone will keep us at distance because I will sleep when their day truly begins. It is of course hard to keep in touch with friends over the internet, definitely when the timezones such a huge different sometimes it can be 9 hours, and that makes it very hard to connect with people, you would often have to meet or talk on an exact hour, and then you can only speak for a few hours per day. Or one of you would have to stay up very late or get up very early. Yes it can indeed be a big problem.

So? What's so great about the internet besides than connecting with the world? I think google is awesome. The fact I can go there, type a few words of a subject I want some knowledge about and thousands of pages shows up and I can browse them look after exactly what I wanted to know about, if you want information about anything, you can find it on the internet on a few seconds. Back in the old days you had to look up in the encyclopedia and that containing almost 20 books with information about each letter. It takes time and often you don't get the rightful answer you were looking for. The internet takes 2 minutes and you have thousands of sites to pick from, the most relevant on the top.

The internet is the one place everybody can reach each other, find old friends, find articles of their interest, watch movies, entertain themselves, and in a fast way. The internet never fails us, the computer can fail, the wires can fail, but the internet always provide us with fast searching and nice resulsts. The internet has become the one center of the world, controlling many people's lives but that is more likely that person's view of the internet than the internet being "evil".

The internet is fast, and our future, even if internet and machines take away a lot of jobs in this world, there is needed someone around who also can handle machines and computers, IT/EDB we need people who know what they talk about, and pass it on to the next generation. If you know something about computers, you can survive the new world, and you are going.

The internet has definitely become our future.
